🤝 Rotary Club Meeting Guideline: Safe Space and Solicitation Policy At our Rotary Club meetings, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and collaborative environment for our members. To uphold the integrity of our gatherings and maintain focus on our shared mission, we have established a solicitation policy. 🚫 Solicitation-Free Zone: Our meetings are designated as solicitation-free, meaning that any form of fundraising or promotional activities by other clubs, organizations, or individuals is not permitted during our meeting time. 💼 Board-Level Consideration: Requests for members' participation in external fundraisers or initiatives should be submitted to the Board for careful consideration. The Board will evaluate the nature of the request and, if deemed appropriate, may communicate such opportunities through our internal channels. 📧 Internal Communications: Approved solicitations and participation requests will be disseminated through our official internal communication channels. This ensures that our members receive information about relevant opportunities in a structured and controlled manner. 👥 Maintaining a Safe Space: By adhering to this policy, we aim to preserve the sanctity of our Rotary Club meetings, allowing members to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborations without external distractions. 🤝 Thank you for your Understanding: We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all members in upholding these guidelines, which contribute to the positive and focused atmosphere of our Rotary Club meetings. 🌐 For further inquiries or to submit a request for consideration, please contact Anthony (Club President) at rotariananthonywaddell@gmail.com on behalf of the club Board.

Riverview Boys & Girls Club
Oct 08, 2024 7:00 PM
Lynda Carey is the Executive Director of the BGC Riverview. She joined this passionate team in November of 2008 and has not looked back. She has worked for national and international businesses for over 20 years in operations and management capacities but has finally found the reason to get up and go to work. “This is a joy, not a job” is a comment she has been heard to say many times. In the past 16 years, Lynda has worked with the BGC National Peer Review Committee and is also a contributing member of the BGC of Canada Operational Excellence Committee which is committed to ensuring that all clubs meet the required standard of operations that will ultimately provide a strong, safe and secure setting for all children and youth in their care. Recently she has become a member of the Greater Moncton ED Collaborative Network and enjoys working in tandem with other non profit organizations in the area. In more recent years, Lynda has proudly accepted the honorable recognition of the National Canada 150 Commuity Leader Award, and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for Community Service. She has completed the LMI Canada Total Leader Series of training and loves to share this knowledge with staff and peers alike to help build better organizations.
Lynda was born and raised in Riverview. She attended Mount Allison University and, after a few years of living in Fredericton, moved back to Riverview. Lynda has two sons, Johnathon and Adam who are both Riverview residents and Club alumni. In January, she will become a grandmother for the first time and has already started shopping. She and her husband Vaughn love to rescue and adopt senior dogs to give them a wonderful and peaceful end of life. |
