Awards & Recognition:
Recipient of the “Top 20 Under 40” from the Chamber of Commerce and “Champion of Diversity” from NBMC in 2023, Ketan is a recognized leader in Moncton. He was also a finalist for the Young Entrepreneur and Newcomer Entrepreneur awards by the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce.

Prix et distinctions :
Lauréat du prix « Top 20 Under 40 » de la Chambre de commerce et « Champion de la diversité » du NBMC en 2023, Ketan est un leader reconnu à Moncton. Il a aussi été finaliste aux prix Jeune entrepreneur et Nouvel entrepreneur de la Chambre de commerce du Grand Moncton.

Community Involvement:
Ketan serves on the City of Moncton's Planning and Advisory Committee and as Vice-President of the New Brunswick Business Immigrant Association (NBBIA). He’s also active with the Indo-Canada Association, Rotary Club, Alma City Club, Moncton Press Club, Men’s Progress Club of Moncton, and 100 Men Who Care.

Engagement communautaire :
Ketan siège au Comité consultatif d’urbanisme de la Ville de Moncton et est vice-président de la New Brunswick Business Immigrant Association (NBBIA). Il est aussi actif au sein de l’Association indo-canadienne, du Club Rotary, du Alma City Club, du Moncton Press Club, du Men’s Progress Club of Moncton et des 100 hommes qui s’investissent.

Professional Journey:
A computer engineering graduate, Ketan leads Let’s Nurture, overseeing 50+ mobile app projects and over 1,000 website developments. He also founded MonctonCares, a leading initiative supporting newcomers.

Parcours professionnel :
Diplômé en génie informatique, Ketan dirige Let’s Nurture, avec plus de 50 applications mobiles et 1 000 sites Web à son actif. Il est aussi le fondateur de MonctonCares, une initiative phare d’accueil des nouveaux arrivants.

Resilience & Mentorship:
After overcoming early academic challenges, Ketan excelled in engineering studies in India. A “Global Shapers” alumnus, he now mentors entrepreneurs and contributes to global forums.

Après avoir surmonté des difficultés scolaires initiales, Ketan s’est démarqué en ingénierie en Inde. Ancien membre de « Global Shapers », il guide aujourd’hui des entrepreneurs et participe à des forums internationaux.

Community and Global Impact:
Since arriving in Moncton in 2019, Ketan has helped over 10,000 newcomers through MonctonCares. Internationally, he has contributed through the Ahmedabad Global Shapers, the Blood Monk initiative in India, and a major clothing donation campaign.

Depuis son arrivée à Moncton en 2019, Ketan a soutenu plus de 10 000 nouveaux arrivants grâce à MonctonCares. À l’international, il s’est engagé auprès des Ahmedabad Global Shapers, de l’initiative Blood Monk en Inde et d’une importante collecte de vêtements.

Trevor MacDougall is the Senior Vice President of Development at the YMCA of Greater Moncton. In his role, he focuses on major gifts, campaigns, and strategic partnerships, with a strong interest in the Y’s long-term vision, including primary health care partnerships and future facility expansions that position the YMCA as essential health and social infrastructure for our region. A lifelong community-builder, Trevor has served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Mill Creek, is a board member with Metro Moncton Disc Golf, and has over 25 years of experience coaching volleyball at Riverview High School. He has been happily married for more than 20 years and is the proud father of two daughters, one studying law at Dalhousie University and the other graduating from Riverview High this year.

 

Trevor MacDougall est vice-président principal du développement au YMCA du Grand Moncton. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, il se concentre sur les dons importants, les campagnes et les partenariats stratégiques, et s'intéresse particulièrement à la vision à long terme du YMCA, notamment aux partenariats en matière de soins de santé primaires et à l'agrandissement futur des installations qui positionnent le YMCA comme une infrastructure sanitaire et sociale essentielle pour notre région. Engagé depuis toujours dans la vie communautaire, Trevor a siégé au conseil d'administration de Friends of Mill Creek, est membre du conseil d'administration de Metro Moncton Disc Golf et compte plus de 25 ans d'expérience comme entraîneur de volleyball à l'école secondaire Riverview. Il est marié depuis plus de 20 ans et est l'heureux père de deux filles, l'une étudiant le droit à l'université Dalhousie et l'autre diplômée cette année de l'école secondaire Riverview.
