Today, members of our club, Rotary Action Group for Peace members and the Greater Moncton Rotary Action Group for Peace raised the UN flag at City of Moncton / Ville de Moncton in commemoration of International Peace Day.
Rotary holds the highest consultative status offered to a nongovernmental organization by the UN’s Economic and Social Council, which oversees many specialized UN agencies.
Special thanks to the NB Commissioner for Systemic Racism for attending along with two counsellors from the City of Moncton.
